I know i have only been in there twice, but i did notice on Betrayal and Ogre that both methods were different for the fights. Im not saying one is right and the other not but maybe we can figure something consistent? iono…lol im tired.

Basic set up. 2 healers, tank (pld or war works), 2 thm/blms, 3 heavy DDs, either melee or mage.

First map: Skip cutscenes. DO NOT BUFF until after the cutscene inside of the raid after you move into it a little bit. Tank leads. Tank and party will go east while one person that is not a sleeper grabs first chest.

By pass the first circle for now, Sleep all toads along the way. Everyone stands in the second circle, sleepga if you want or think you will need to.

Proceed through the door, re-casting Stoneskin on the party.
Turn right after door go down to the blue circle behind the toad first, tank can run to center of room and start on that one. If its a pld, flash, then sleepga.

After both are triggered mobs disappear. return to the first circle, only need to kill the fish thats alone to trigger chest after batraal.

Proceed back to the room that caused the mobs to vanish. go through, tank will have to turn left wait inside the long hall way while one of the other DDs goes and grabs the chest to the north. once the DD returns to the party, re-apply SS and continue to the the end of map one. Once in the circle, flash/sleepga.

After triggered a teleport will appear. target and enter it.

MAP2

Buff once everyone is through. Tank runs to the room with the ogre. A DD with high hp will run and grab the north chest and join everyone in the main room. DO NOT TRIGGER THE CIRCLE UNTIL EVERYONE IS READY!

Fully buff before entering the circle and make sure all hp/mp is full. The tank will stand a little bit to the left facing the ramp to the south of the circle. This is where the ogre Spawns.

the ogre is accompanied by a few ghosts that do not move, but they will teleport into center of the room, its is best if the tank does not use sentinel until moving from point A to point B.

For melee do not stand behind the ogre, unless you know how to avoid his elbow drop and make him use it properly.

Mages are best to stand at points C and D, taking the Blue path, while melee can take the Green path, and the Tank takes the red path

This movement takes place when the ghosts move, it is a good idea to have one person designated to say when the ghosts are moving, make a macro. At this time, the ogre will use a linear AoE on the tank that is ranged and does alot of dmg, thus is why its best to save sentinel for the transaction.

Once the ogre is dead a chest will spawn in the center of the room. Proceed forward.

Kill all the mobs in this area and watch out for this eye, his hits will bind, stun, amnesia, silence, weight, on you preventing anything, avoid his drop zones while fighting and triggering the circles.

Once triggered go to the room to the west, This is where you will find AF, to produce the chest, kill the 3 drakes, only the drakes and fast if your going for a speed run.

After finishing the chest return to the entrance of the north room.

Normaly, this room will have the tank run in and agro all the ghost and die in the NE corner or near door to Batraal. However, if you have a few blms, and a war as the tank at this time or pld, gather them all, and kill them all.

Once the ghosts are dead or the tank is dead in a spot where others can trigger the circles go ahead and trigger them avoiding the eyes drops and hitting the NW circle last.

Once the NW trigger is done, 10 skeletons will spawn near you but out of agro range. If you have a war, and some blms, go agro them all with the war, or pld if killed all the ghosts, and AoE them all down.

Once ghosts are done, head to the captains quarters, kill all the imperials and open the chests, Congratulations if anyone needed "Into the Dark" quest done, your quest is completed ^^.

Once done with that room proceed to the final room. and another crappy edited map for positions again coming up.

Batraal is not a normal fight. Buff and prepare before triggering the circle. Once claimed, 3 skeletons will spawn from around the map, DDs grab them fast, while tank takes batraal to postion A, B is for when wave 2 begins and ghost spawn, treed this like the ogre fight, and Healer on C/D.

Designate one healer with the DDs for skeleton group, and one healer for the tank on batraal. The faster you can kill the skeles the better, if your good and know what to do, can kill them at batraal.

There are 3 waves of skeletons, first wave is as soon as you claim. Second about 75% hp left, third about 40%.

After the second one ghosts will spawn at batraal near point A and B, thus is why the tank moves him between the two points keeping back to a wall, and the healer on the cliff.

Batraal has TWO forms, in which everyone besides the tank and healer have to run to the circle to take off of him. One ins invincibilty, shown on his status as a magic up symbol.
The other is high damage, which is seen when his swords glow and eerie black, this mode you will want to remove asap, for he can do 600-2k dmg in one hit during it to a pld with sentinel on.

It is a good idea for the tank to have a macro that warns the others to go to the circle, once seen everyone is to rush onto, while trying not to get hit by mr "ill screw you and your mother" eyeball. both eyes fly around near the circle but do not venture where you hold batraal.

Once all the skeletons are killed per wave, the DDs can help weaken batraal but pay attention to the map, once you see the yellow dots appear prepare to take the skeles near the circle to fight out of range of the eye and out of aoe range of the tank and ghost areas, this way you have quick access to the circle if needed to hit while killing, and just out side of the circle is safe from eyes to the wall to the east of it.

after the third wave of skeles, kill batraal fast avoiding the ghosts and you will be done. It is a very very easy fight once you get the hang of it.

Hope this helps and enjoy ^^

For a speed run, hit the first circle right away and kill fast, do not stop moving, obtain all chests, kill all eyes as you trigger the skeleton room, and fight batraal and skeletons at same time.
